Recently the federal government released a study about the use of Facial Recognition Technology (FRT) used by federal agencies. The report was released by the Government Accountability Office (GAO). During this interview we discover the outcomes of this insightful report; including (1) the risks and opportunities that FRT presents and (2) how citizens, private industry and government can work together to ensure equity, accuracy, and privacy issues are addressed as FRT becomes engrained in business and personal activities.
